FAQs & contact

A conversation is a good start.

Ask about competition nerves, hesitation or self-doubt—and how mental performance coaching and hypnosis might help you work on them.

A few useful answers

Before you begin.

What is sports mindset coaching?

It is practical work on the mental side of competing: how you prepare, direct your attention, respond to pressure and reset after mistakes. The programme connects that work to situations in your sport.

How does hypnosis fit into the programme?

John’s outline includes hypnosis as one possible part of rehearsing a response, alongside coaching and mental rehearsal. It is used where appropriate and with consent. The introductory conversation is a chance to ask how John would approach your situation.

Is hypnosis optional?

Hypnosis in the programme is subject to consent. Tell John if you prefer coaching and mental rehearsal, and ask him to confirm whether a suitable option is available for your needs before you book.

Which sports and competitive levels is this for?

The programme is intended for youth athletes, amateur competitors, professionals and weekend warriors across sports. Talk to John about the particular demands of your event or competition and whether his support is a good fit.

Can young athletes take part?

A parent or guardian should contact John first. His existing published terms say that under-18 clients attend in person with a parent or guardian, and online sessions are for adults. Ask John to confirm the current age, consent and safeguarding arrangements for the sports programme before booking.

Are sessions online or in person?

The existing terms refer to both online and in-person sessions. Contact John to confirm which formats are currently available for your chosen support, together with any location or age requirements.

What happens after the introductory call?

The current booking page asks about what you want to work on and when you are available; John gets in touch to arrange the conversation. Use it to discuss suitability, the next step and any costs before deciding whether to continue.

Is John’s wider support available here too?

The Hypnotherapy & Personal Change area describes support around anxiety, confidence and pressure beyond sport. Explore the service pages, then ask John about suitability and the options currently available.

Can I purchase or join a programme on this website?

Online purchases and membership registration are not available on this website yet. Contact John to discuss programme availability, suitability and how to get started. If you already have a course, contact John for help with your access.

Is membership the same as buying a programme?

No. The current shop lists monthly membership and separate standalone programme purchases. Membership registration is not open on this website. Ask John about current options, inclusions and access terms.

What happens during a session?

John’s programme starts by noticing a pressure pattern and understanding its triggers. Coaching, mental rehearsal and hypnosis where appropriate may form part of the work. Ask John about the session structure, duration and fees before booking paid support.

How do I choose between self-study and 1-to-1 support?

Self-study offers a way to explore the work independently. Personalised support centres on the pressure pattern in your own sport. If you are unsure, an introductory conversation can help you discuss the options and confirm what each includes.

Availability, fees and participation arrangements should be confirmed directly with John. Read the terms →
